Making Sunday School Cool Again
Psalm 100

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he whomade us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the LORD is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.

Welcome to Rock Mountain Lakes Baptist Church!

You have made it to the website, and I would love to welcome you to our actual gatherings on Sunday mornings at 10:30 AM. It is our desire to publicly honor Jesus Christ in community, using his Word, Christ-exalting music, and fellowship as our means of pursing him.

It is the purpose of our church to cultivate a missional community of Christians who express their love for God in acts of worship, both public and private. This means our church exists in part to help you walk closer to Jesus Christ, and better experience his life-giving love.

God has designed us for his glory!

We are called to live for his exaltation. "Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy mountain; for the LORD our God is holy" (Ps. 99:9)! It is a tragedy that so many broken lives remain broken because of a refusal to believe these truths. Without Christ as the source and goal of our lives, we will constantly fall short of his glory, and constantly find ourselves in the meaningless mire of this world, desperate for hope.

Our church exists to help you find true joy in Christ, as Jesus taught his disciples, "Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full" (John 16:24). In Christ there is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. Our desire as a church is to cultivate this joy in the Lord that he might be glorified in our lives.

Please contact me with any questions you may have about your spiritual life, or about our church. I am here to serve you.

For the glory of Christ,

Pastor Jason
